Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:

InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort and Spa has decided to go green, and reduce its impact on the environment.

Using energy saving lights, serving organic food and recycling are some of the important eco-friendly initiatives taken by the hotel.

The second  part of the 'committed to green' campaign aims to involve the hotel guests in saving energy and reducing waste, whereby  visitors who wish to take part can simply hang the "Committed to Green leaflet" on the doorknobs.

Guests could also support this initiative by turning off the lights and television when they leave their rooms, and opening the windows more frequently to enjoy the resorts' fresh air instead of using the air conditioner.
