See above regarding the awful personnel at the hotel. Furthermore:
> the room was not clean nor in a state of good repair;
> the room had no flyscreens on the windows and windows did not close properly - I was stung viciously by mosquitos
Avoid this hotel.

1-There was no breakfast at the hotel as the website showed in the Hotel. The reception was reporting very late to the duty, Almost at 9.45 am .
2- The reception was very noisy in one of the nights, he was screaming and yelling in a phone call for nearly one hour.
3-The hotel was full of mosquitoes.
4-The reception charged me for a full night charge for being only 2 hours late only on the check out day.

Be careful guests ! Our arrival was a real nightmare !!
When we did arrive at 8 pm, the welcome was frosty and we had to wait for our room as it was not ready for us.
The cold young man went upstairs quickly to check the bedroom and then gave us the key.
When we entered, it was a joke : one of the twin bed was not clean (dirty sheets), there was only one soaked towel for two people (rolled into a ball on a chair !) and in the bathroom, there was water all over the place next and we found a ant hill.
I informed the young man of all of that and that we wanted him to make the bedroom clean, he seemed to be “pissed off” by our request and we had to wait for him to finish his cigarette before considering our claim.
Besides, when I asked for breakfast hours (our breakfast was included in the online paid price), we were told we would not have breakfast because of Ramadan !! We had to negotiate to get something (cash back or breakfast). It was a breakfast i.e cheese pizza + (open !!) water bottle + fruit juice.
Luckily the hotel is nice and very well located but all of that spoilt our stay.
By the way, Saida is an amazing city as well as the whole Lebanon !

The most important thing to note and really change immediately is the fact that the hotel is apparently locked from 22 to 24 PM. We were told we had to be either in by 10 PM or wait to Midnight to enter our rooms, since there is no staff to open the door between these times and the main door to the hotel is LOCKED during that time. This raises serious safetly concerns, e.g., what if there is a fire? and could be easily solved by providing ALL guests with a key to the main door. We asked for a key, we were told that there was only one spare and another customer had it.
There is hardly anybody at the reception. The attitude of one of the staff was of complete carelessness, border line rude. A good guy, but really not up for the job, he does not even try.
Room was very clean, but was not cleaned on sunday morning (we stayed two nights) nor were the dirty towels we used to dry a leak from the A/C changed.
Bathroom was clean and towels were supplied upon request the first day.
Room was very nice, even if it needs serious works to windows and Air Conditioning unit leaked a lot of water (we had to turn it off completely).
We had to convince staff that we had paid for breakfast, and while the second morning the staff (a decent and professional guy) was kind enough to ask you if Manakish was ok for breakfast and whether we wanted tea or coffee, the first morning we were brought Manakish and tea without asking. Both were good, but my mother is for example used to sweets in the morning and hotels usually offer the choice of at least bread and jam. In addition, she does not drink tea but coffee, and when we asked the staff (the one who seems he could not care less) told us in an aggressive tone that 'this is what he had prepared'.
The hotel could be such a nice place, if only it was cared for and more professional staff (like the one of them) hired.
